Lower Monthly Cost

Without ACA subsidies, many Americans pay $700–$1,000 per month for an individual and $1,500–$2,200+ for a family — typically for an HMO. PPOs often cost hundreds more per month, making HMOs the only affordable option for many households. There’s a better option — if you qualify.

Common questions.

Is this “real” health insurance? expand_more
Yes. These are private, medically underwritten health insurance plans designed to help cover doctor visits, illnesses, accidents, and hospitalization. Unlike ACA Marketplace plans, they’re individually underwritten and provide scheduled benefits — meaning they pay fixed amounts for covered services rather than a percentage of the overall bill. For many people, what those fixed amounts add up to over a year is less than paying a percentage of the bill against a high ACA deductible. Select plans also offer first-dollar benefits for covered services, with no annual deductible to satisfy before those benefits begin. Michael will explain exactly how the coverage works and whether it’s the right fit for your situation.
How is this different from an ACA plan? expand_more
ACA Marketplace plans are guaranteed issue, meaning applicants can’t be declined because of their health history or pre-existing medical conditions. However, for individuals and families who don’t qualify for meaningful premium subsidies, monthly premiums can be significantly higher. Our private plans are medically underwritten, so applicants must qualify. Because they generally insure a healthier risk pool, qualified individuals can often save $200 to $500 per month and families $600 to $1,000, and select plans offer first-dollar benefits for covered services with no annual deductible to satisfy before those benefits begin. Benefits and exclusions differ from ACA plans. Michael will explain the differences, answer your questions, and help determine which option is the best fit for your specific needs.
What if I get seriously ill? expand_more
Every plan we offer includes catastrophic protection designed to help safeguard you from major medical expenses, including hospitalization, surgery, and other serious health events, after a deductible that varies by plan. If a significant health condition develops, these plans can also help bridge you to the next ACA Marketplace Open Enrollment period, where coverage is guaranteed regardless of any new diagnosis. Michael will explain exactly how the protection works and whether it’s the right fit for your needs.
Who is this NOT right for? expand_more
Our plans aren’t the right fit for everyone. Individuals with significant pre-existing medical conditions, those who qualify for substantial ACA premium subsidies, or anyone seeking comprehensive mental health, substance abuse, or drug and alcohol rehabilitation coverage may be better served by other options. Michael will provide honest, straightforward guidance and let you know if this isn’t the right fit before you spend a dollar.
